Great British Bake Off By Numbers

I am a huge fan of the Great British Bake Off!  I was a bit late to the party and only got into the series last year. For some reason I thought it would be like Great British Menu and I am not a fan of that show. When my friend realised that I hadn’t watched GBBO she was so shocked and she insisted that I must. I loved it immediately and was sad to have missed the first few [click here to read on]

The Read On Get On Campaign

I love books and I am really pleased that Bob takes after me in that department. When I met her daddy he had never read a book for enjoyment. After introducing him to the Harry Potter series (I thought these would be an easy read and interesting enough to keep his attention) he now reads occasionally and he seems to enjoy it. He also now likes sharing stories with Bob. I love listening to them enjoy a bedtime story together! [click here to read on]

A Cheeky Monkey Nursery

As we rent our current house I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do anything exciting when I was planning the nursery. Bob’s nursery was beautiful and I am still impressed with how I painted her big girl’s bedroom! I didn’t know how to decorate the nursery. The room had been newly painted before we moved in so it seemed silly to repaint it. I decided that wall stickers were the way forward. Bob loves her Disney Princess [click here to read on]

Bingo, Pottery, Afternoon Tea & Races

One of my best friends gets married on Saturday. I am very excited and I can’t wait to share their special day with them. My husband kept telling me that he didn’t think I’d make it to the wedding with it being so close to my due date but so far so good. Our new arrival has stayed put and my bridesmaid dress still fits! A couple of weeks ago we went away for my friend’s hen weekend. She didn’t [click here to read on]
