It's A Man Thing

We love our current home! For the past 12 years we have lived in old houses. They were lovely and quirky but they were also full of nooks, crannies and constant cobwebs. We now live in a house that was built 10 years ago and it is a refreshing change! The house layout has been very well thought out and we have some amazing storage places. It is the perfect family home. The thing we have had to compromise on [click here to read on]

Halloween Fun

I love Halloween! Even before I had children I loved dressing up and carving pumpkins! My favourite costume to date is when I stuck 5kg of marshmallows onto a boiler suit to be the Marshmallow Man! 🙂 This costume was amazing but it wasn’t very practical. Having 5kg of marshmallows suspended from your shoulders becomes quite uncomfortable after awhile. I was also quite fond of my pumpkin costume. I used the lycra wrapped hairstyle from my dancing days as inspiration [click here to read on]

How Technology Is Changing The Way We Learn How To Drive

Like many other aspects of our lives, technology is having an increasingly large part to play in learning to drive. It doesn’t seem that long ago when learning to drive consisted of a series of lessons, some out of hours practice and memorising the Highway Code from cover to cover. Strictly Bob Dancing

Bob loves Strictly Come Dancing! I like it to but I am not allowed to watch it. We all gather round to watch it together but as soon as the dancing begins Bob starts to twirl and turn around the living room. I try to watch the show but if she catches me looking at the television she says, ‘Are you watching me Mummy?’ After each dance we have to give Bob her scores. It is good fun but I [click here to read on]

What Are The Chances?

Today I have a fun post from Richard Frodshom about how likely it is for unlikely things to happen. 🙂 What Are The Chances? The odds of guessing either heads or tails correctly on a coin toss are pretty simple to work out, but what about figuring out the odds of what may happen to yourself or your child in the future? Ladbrokes has the answer to this and many other oddball odds queries… 1) Winning the lottery This is [click here to read on]
