The Read On Get On Campaign

I love books and I am really pleased that Bob takes after me in that department. When I met her daddy he had never read a book for enjoyment. After introducing him to the Harry Potter series (I thought these would be an easy read and interesting enough to keep his attention) he now reads occasionally and he seems to enjoy it. He also now likes sharing stories with Bob. I love listening to them enjoy a bedtime story together! [click here to read on]

Share A Smile - A Wonderful Wedding

Last Saturday one of my best friends got married. It was a wonderful day and I was honoured to be a part of it! I did very well considering I was 9 months pregnant but the aches and pains hit me and I had to leave at about 10.30pm. I wish I could have partied the night away! I took over 150 photos! The reception was beautiful and so much thought had been put into the little details. I don’t [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Green Cabbage

Pregnancy Catch Up 31 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a green cabbage Bob wasn’t too keen on eating the cabbage (who can blame her) but she was happy to wear a leaf on her head.  Who would have thought I would have my own, real life cabbage patch kid! 🙂  At 31 weeks all of our baby’s 5 senses are working. His brain is developing as is my baby brain. 🙂  To see my first post [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 31 Weeks

Written on the 27th July We are having a wonderful holiday in Majorca! I had a last minute panic as we were waiting to board the plane. We have insurance in case the baby comes early but I suddenly started to worry. If he did arrive in Majorca he wouldn’t have a passport. How would we bring him home? My husband told me not to worry. He was sure we would be able to sort something if that did happen [click here to read on]

Disney Princess Party - Party Bag Fillers.

I made some lovely princess party bags for Bob’s party, you can see how I made them here. The party bag fillers were very important, obviously for the children but also because they gave the skirts their shape. All You Need To Party sent me some lovely princess tiaras and some jewellery. I struggled to get these into the party bags as Bob wanted them all. I then added a little purse, some bubbles and some sweets. I put boys [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Red Cabbage

Pregnancy Catch Up 30 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a red cabbage The size of our baby this week differs depending on which site you refer to. Some sites list red cabbage as the size of the baby at 30 weeks and some list it for the size at 26 weeks. I had 2 things that I could use for 26 weeks, lettuce or red cabbage. I chose lettuce and saved red cabbage to use later [click here to read on]

A Cheeky Monkey Nursery

As we rent our current house I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do anything exciting when I was planning the nursery. Bob’s nursery was beautiful and I am still impressed with how I painted her big girl’s bedroom! I didn’t know how to decorate the nursery. The room had been newly painted before we moved in so it seemed silly to repaint it. I decided that wall stickers were the way forward. Bob loves her Disney Princess [click here to read on]
