When nominations for the MAD blog awards opened last week I didn’t add the badge to my site, I didn’t write a post about it and I didn’t mention it on twitter. There are so many fabulous blogs out there that cover so many different topics I didn’t think mine would be good enough in any of the categories. I don’t write about fashion, I am definitely not thrifty and although I write a bit about food (mainly cake!) and I love photography I didn’t think that my little blog was big enough to be a contender.
Unbelievably somebody else thought differently. When I had a look at the nominations placed in the first week my blog appeared several times. Thank you whoever you are! I would blame my Mum but I didn’t talk her through how to vote so there’s no way she would have managed it! 
As far as I can tell, looking at the huge amount of nominations that have been received, I have been nominated for Best Baby Blog (I am not sure I am eligible for this one as I think you baby has to be born after February 2012 but thank you!), Best Food Blog, Best MAD Blog For Family Fun, Most Entertaining Blog, Best Blog Photography and MAD Blog Of The Year. Wow! You are far too kind! Luckily I wasn’t nominate for Best Pregnancy Blog! There was a chance that this may have happen as I look like I am carrying twins!
I suppose now is the time to add the badge and write a post. If you read and enjoy my blog and have a few spare minutes I would really appreciate your vote! I think that my blog is probably most suited to Best Photography (you can see some of my photos here) or Best Family Fun but if you would like to vote for me in any category that you feel suitable it would be much appreciated! (Apart from Best Pregnancy Blog!!!)
